Argument: Women should not go to college for various reasons.
Reasons:
- They will attract the wrong types of Men.
- Will be in near occasion of sinning (sex).
- Will not learn to be a wife and mother.
- Degree will be hard to pay for.
- You don't have to prove anything to the world.
- Causes parents to sin (if using an investment at childs birth)
- She will regret it.
- Could interfere with religious vocation.
Counterargument: Women should be allowed to go to college.
Counters:
- Women need to know there Man long enough to know if they want to stay with him. And sometimes it's a choice who gets to stay home. I do share same concern though.
- Your Daughter is not the child she was. She's a grown adult. Let her decide her life and help her if she needs it.
- Colleges offer Early Childhood Development Classes and Developmental Psychology classes to understand children. But I share the same concern for a house making class.
- People can always apply for a grant or a scholarship. There are other ways to pay for college.
- This can be applied to everybody, not just women. And although it's not needed for every job, it helps employers focus on hiring you.
- Parents do not always pay for kids tuition. They can help them set up a loan or a grant. Even with child investment, you're taking a huge gamble that the child will want to go to college. He/She may want to join the military.
- Dual Career families are not always a choice. If anybody gets a job with their degree, it will not feel regrettable at all.
- As bad as it sounds, the debt needs to be payed for first. If the woman wants to be in a vocation that badly, she will have to work to get rid of her debt.
